#21 Emma Dowling – Becoming an Empowered Momma

Emma is the creator and founder of the Empowered Mama.
After having her own little boy Jacob, in 2017 she realised the lack of research backed, accurate information that was readily available for mamas who wanted to safely return to exercise and sports or just get back to feeling strong and stable during and post pregnancy. Emma’s own sporting background is Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit. 

She set about creating an environment that was fun and sociable as well as challenging and pre covid she operated fitness classes all across Dublin and Wicklow where babas could accompany their mama’s. In 2019 she launched her online pre and post natal home workout programme and in 2020 her SWEATwithEM workout programme. 
Emma and her team are now working with 100’s of women of different fitness levels and abilities remotely, helping them become fitter, stronger, healthier and happier.
